Clear Liquid Diet

Beginning in the morning, the day prior to you surgery, follow this diet the entire day.

At 1pm the day before your surgery, please take one bottle of Citrate of Magnesium. This does not require a prescription and can be purchased at your local pharmacy. You may consume clear liquids, which includes sports drinks, clear soups/broth, Jello, fruit juice, coffee or tea for the remainder of the day until midnight. Be sure to drink enough fluids over the course of the evening, to prevent dehydration.

DO NOT EAT OR DRINK, ANYTHING AFTER MIDNIGHT, THE NIGHT PRIOR TO YOUR PROCEDURE.
